OC3 Entertainment joins
Xbox™ Tools and Middleware program
Automated lip-synchronization software made available to Xbox game
developers

- Morrisville, North Carolina, February 26, 2003 – OC3 Entertainment, Inc.
announced today that it has signed an Xbox Tools and Middleware agreement
with Microsoft to provide automated lip-synchronization solutions for the
Xbox™ video game system from Microsoft. The agreement will allow OC3
Entertainment to expand its Impersonator™ product line onto the Xbox
platform and provide a real-time solution for Xbox™ Live™.
Drew Angeloff, Xbox Tools Program Manager at Microsoft, states, “Gamers are
demanding more realistic characters and game designers are responding. Part
of the solution to creating more realistic characters is accurate
lip-synching and facial animation. OC3 Entertainment has a solution for Xbox
developers and I welcome them to the Xbox development community.”

“When Xbox Live is combined with animated talking characters, game
developers will be able to deliver an unprecedented level of interaction.”
The Impersonator product line, which analyzes pre-recorded audio, is
currently available for Xbox game developers. A solution that enables
real-time communication via animated characters will be released later this
year.
